Mikko Pajunen NORF 2013

Mikko Pajunen will test his skills against world best rally drivers in Neste Oil Rally Finland with AT Rally Team’s Ford Fiesta S2000. Pajunen has entered in WRC2 class. In seat of co-driver is seen a new man. Tapio Suominen is familiar as Toni Gardemeister’s co-driver in IRC.

Last weekend tested Pajunen and Suominen two days in Jämsä.  Even Pajunen could have more kilometers with the new car and new co-driver, found he the feeling quite well.

- I have driven quite a bit this year and my last rally on ravel was in Italy in June 2012. Now we almost had a very big problem with the car caused by fire. We were in Belgium and  the car had a fire just before end of the rally. There was nothing left of it after that, says Pajunen

Pajunen was racing in GEKO Ypres ERC rally and just a kilometer before the goal, car got a fire and he  had to retire. Luckily the drivers were unharmed.

- Just before Neste Oil, had AT rally team  a tarmac car from Czech. But our first test day was ruined, because there was a mystic bug in the car. Team made a good job and fixed it just before second test day. Settings of the car are now pleasant and I believe it will work during the rally also. I want to thank the team and everyone else whom have make possible me to drive in my home Rally. But I have to admit car is so fine piece of art that there is still lot to learn of it, says Pajunen just before NORF
